Petite Poetry

I’m afraid,

Afraid of life,

Life is scary,

It’s scaring me to death,

Death? Would it be easier than life,

Life that is so difficult,

Too difficult to bear,

Bearing such a weight,

How did Jesus do it?

How did Jesus bear my sins,

There are far too many to count,

How could I look him in the eyes,

Knowing he died for me,

I know how though,

My love,

My love for him is so strong,

Strong enough to bring him from the grave of my mind,

Will it be enough though?

Enough for forgiveness from my sin bared life?

Hope, oh my hope, it is so very strong,

My Jesus, My God, hang on,

For soon I will join you, My Father in Heaven,

Soon we will be together,

Soon I will sooth you blood-soaked brow,

Soon, Soon, So Soon!
